So about a year ago I got involved in a toxic relationship. It only lasted a few months but took a dramatic & intense toll on my mental health. I recall being so upset with myself that I started harming myself in my ex's bathroom.
I'm in a new relationship since that one, and my boyfriend is amazing.
But some of the things I had to endure from my ex still affect me to this day. I'm scared I didn't give myself enough time to heal, and I'm scared how I behave sometimes because of my ex will ruin my current relationship.
I'm trying to do better but it is soooo hard sometimes. Any kind words or advice is welcome. Thank you in advance 💕
