We have a 1 year old blue heeler. She’s adorable and so loving, her down fall?! She won’t bark ONCE during the day... but the moment we try to go to bed she loses her damn mind. We have tried everything! Letting her sleep in our room, kenneling her, putting her in another room, adding extra walks and outside time during the day, giving her anxiety dog tablets. Getting her a night light and noise machine, her own blanket for comfort. EVERYTHING we can think of and everything recommended to us.We got her a bark collar the vibrated and emits a high pitched noise when she barks it doesn’t even phase her! It’s starting to get bad for her own safety. We have a 4 year old lab who doesn’t have a mean bone in her body but our lab will actually start to growl at her when she’s barking. We have to split them up at night. She’s keeping my kids awake at night with her barking and if we put her outside she still barks and barks and I worry our neighbors will complain. I need help because I am about at my wits end! I have a 3 year old and a newborn and we need sleep!! I don’t understand why she does it at night and only night! Help us because I’m at a loss!
