I had iPhones for years but lately hadn't really felt like they have done anything that exciting. I switched to Samsung and have the note 10+, I absolutely love it!

i like iphone way more since i don't buy a new model every year. iphones get about 6 years of ios/security support. and theur resell value is pretty stable. part of the reason flagship androids tend to sink in value within a few months is they get a major update after a year and then just get small updates so they become pretty vulnerable. 
plus the design is a lot more cohesive. apple is renowned for their ux/ui
