I’ve been hiding it from my parents for two weeks. And I need ideas , it’s been eating at me for the past two weeks. Mind you I’m 14 years old .

My daughter is 14 and I recently found out she lost her virginity, she came to me. Even thou i was dying inside and angry I didn't show her that I talked to her about safe sex ect. I want my daughter to be able to come and talk to me about anything no matter how much it might hurt me. If your close with your mum sit her down and talk with her, she probably won't like it but shes your mum and will always be there for you, she will help you get on contraception and arrange for an STD check if needed l. It's hard to tell how parents will react because everyone is different. But you know your relationship with them. If you think it's best to tell them then by all means tell them. Though it's usually harder to tell both of them at the same time. So I recommend talking to them one by one. I know we shouldn't have favorites but talk to the parent you're closest to first. They might be more sympathetic and help with telling the other parent. Hope everything goes well 🤞
