When to stop waking up newborn for night feedings?

My baby is 4 days old and I'm waking him up 3-4 hours for formula and 2-3 for breastmilk switching it up between the two. I also wake him up every 2-3 for diaper change before feeding him. When do you stop waking up baby for diapers and feedings at night?

Its about 3 months of no-sleep for mom. Feedings every two hours. It sucks. Not excited to do it all over again with number two.

I stopped waking him once he reached his birth weight and the pediatrician said that he could be his own boss about sleeping and eating. He was about 3 weeks old.
