Baby food help

We started purées and I know to wait three days between. On Friday we tried sweet potatoes so today we’re going to go applesauce. That’s three days right?

Main question I have is, if my baby ate sweet potatoes no reaction, do I give them only applesauce or can I give them anything they have had before without reaction in addition to the new item?
