What happened to “my body, my choice”??? I made an appointment with a new OB after being denied a uterine ablation the first time a few months ago. I have PCOS so my periods go heavy with clots for MONTHS at a time with intense pain, and birth control wasn’t working for me. Well, I was told at my appointment the other day that my periods are irregular, but not irregular for someone with PCOS so my new OB doctor didn’t feel comfortable with doing a uterine ablation... but what hit me the hardest is she said “you’re so young, you may want more children while you can”. Uh, first off, I’m gay, and I have my 2 kids. And after 2 failed pregnancies recently, I’m not up for trying again. I’m done having children and as a 24 year old woman, I believe it’s my choice. Can she really deny me like that?
