Can a uti cause period to start early?
I ended up diagnosed with a uti yesterday after having issues with frequency and urgency with urinating over the past week.
For the last few days there has been small spotting on the toilet paper which I just thought was because I was peeing so much I irritated my skin with all the toilet paper. And when I did the urine sample they said blood was present as well.
Eve has always been pretty accurate at predicting my period and i usually dont start until I'm at least halfway through my sugar pill week of birth control, but since yesterday the bleeding is more constant like a period. But it is 6 days early. I told the dr this when they questioned me about the blood and they didnt seem concerned.
Not currently sexually active and haven't been in a long time so it's nothing to do with that.
Is it possible that the uti could've caused my period to start earlier?
