Belly button question!

Her cord fell off a few days ago (yay!). She’s just over two weeks old. The area looks like it’s healing fine (a teeny pink but the pediatrician said that’s normal and would fade/just keep it clean). But last night we noticed a faint smell (a little stinky) coming from her belly button. We cleaned it again today and kept it dry after but it still smells. We think it’s may be deeper in there and we dare not go digging.

Pretty sure it’s not infected since there’s no pus or pain and she doesn’t have a fever/the smell isn’t THAT bad.

Any thoughts? Remedies? Will it just go away?
