Weaning??

What age did everyone start weaning...think my little ones ready but been told by professionals to wait till 6 months...?

Baby should be getting the same amount of breastmilk/formula until they're 1.
Food should be offered *after* milk/formula.

4 months my son was refusing milk, even when we changed his milk he was only drinking 5-10oz a day. We started on veggie purees & progressed he had curry with mash potato last night & loved it & is enjoying finger food. Hes just turned 5 months. & finally putting on weight.

Baby needs nutrition from breast milk, formula or both for the first year at the very least. It's very important for their development.

Do you mean starting solids? There are different recommendations. My doctor said between 4-6 months, but many say wait until 6 months.
