Should he be the dad

So im the girl whos babydaddy left to mexico i had posted about it like a month ago and i want to remove him from the birth certificate and take all his rights away incase he comes one day i know he will say well i have to see her since im on the birth certificate. do yall think it would be a good idea for me to remove him to start the process.?In tx
