Technically, while you're pregnant. But I didn't feel like a real mom until after I gave birth and held my baby in my arms.

I know people say you’re a mum while pregnant but I personally don’t feel like a mum yet and I’m 23 weeks. I damn we’ll hope I’ll feel like a Mum when I hold my baby in my arms. 
My partner says I’m a mum and bought me me a present from our baby.

I felt like a mom when I heard my babies heartbeat for the first time. I knew I was carrying the love of my life. Everything I do/did was to protect her. I have yet to deliver but at the end of the day if it was my life or Hers I would put my life before hers. I would want her to come out healthy as can be. I love my baby and would do anything for her even if she’s not here yet. My partner felt the same way and he tells me that he sees the excitement in my eyes, how I check my sugar for my GD 4 times a day. How I do anything for our child, the pain mentally, physically and emotionally. I think a lot of people do not see those things. I’m not religious but my cousin is she prayed for her baby when he wanted to come out early (she wasn’t religious before) she said her baby made her see life differently even when he wasn’t here yet.

I didnt feel like a mom until after I had my son, but I was also VERY young. But the moment I held him I felt it for sure!! Now I'm 23 weeks with my second and it's a girl and I definitely felt different this time around. Probably bc she is my second child but 🤷‍♀️
