Breastfeeding and period start?

I’ve been breastfeeding for 7 months so far and no sign of my period yet. I plan to breastfeed for a year, so when should I expect my period to start again after stopping breastfeeding?

I EBF. I got mine at 12 weeks PP. I’m now almost 19 weeks PP and gave t had another one. 🤷🏻‍♀️
There’s no guarantees, I’m afraid.

There is no set time I have a friend who never got hers back and she’s been BF for over a year my daughter is 26 months and I still breastfed but I got mine back at around 7-8 months but it was very irregular and I also missed periods.
Another one of my friends never got her period back and she fell pregnant with her second at 1 year pp while breastfeeding.
