So at my sons 9 month physical, the doctor mentioned his head was kind of growing to the side... he has A LOT of hair, so I never really noticed it. I do feel a small ridge on the top of his head, but other than that, his head looks pretty normal to me. However, she is sending us to a specialist today. Not because it’s dangerous health wise, but a cosmetic concern we may have later when he grows up.

I’m really worried, and I know I shouldn’t be. I’ve read that 9 months is late to start helmet therapy, and the price of these things are outrageous. With my husband out of work and my income being all we have, I’m scared we won’t be able to afford it. I’m in Southern California.

Has anyone else’s LO had to do helmet therapy? What was the outcome? The price? How did you LO handle it?
