For those who haven’t had their babies yet, are you nervous?

I am a first time mom and I just feel really excited to finally meet him. I know there is no use in stressing or being nervous because it's a waste of the strength and positive energy that I know I will need to get me through labour/post delivery. Also knowing my husband will be by my side puts me at ease☺ best of luck to all of you moms.

First time mom and completely nervous.  Baby things are consuming my each and every thought.  So much anxiety.  I’m more nervous about being a mom than the delivery

Tbh I'm way too busy to be nervous, I just hope he stays in until I get my house clean. I'm decluttering the next few days and then having a service come do a deep clean on Thursday, so I'd prefer if he stays in until after that's done! I'm having a home birth and I'd really like it to be clean before go time.

I’m a mixture.. one second totally fine with the thought think I’ll be okay then my anxiety start telling me to worry 😂😂 doesn’t help when my mom texts me not to die in child birth after watching a fake show where someone did🤦🏼‍♀️🙃

So, I’m not sure if I’m nervous about the delivery. That part is inevitable. He has to come out. I’m more nervous about whether I’ll be a great parent or not. I’ve spent a lot of time working on myself this past year and pregnancy to be better for myself, my spouse, and now our son. I struggle with some aspects of parenting because I didn’t grow up in the greatest household. My mom was very controlling, mentally abusive, and she did not model healthy friendships or relationships. It’s taken me a long time to realize what I went through was actually wrong and not the norm for most kids. I just want to be better. I want our son to have what I didn’t but I worry I won’t be successful. Anyways, I’m digressing now.
