TTC after D&C or D&E advice?

I had a D&E last week, I’ve been healing well physically. Everything is still hard emotionally but I am wondering what people’s experiences were TTC after miscarriage and D&E. This was my first pregnancy. I’m 25, average build and it took my husband and I 10 months to get pregnant. Any and all stories/advice/encouragement is welcome! I just want to feel less alone. Thanks

I’m in my first full cycle after D&C, I’m in my TWW and feeling positive. I didn’t ovulate the D&C cycle though. My ob told me that fertility increases in the 3 months post D&C as your uterus gets a good clean out which makes implantation easier to occur. It’s not an exact science though. I’d say take the time to heal and when yours both ready then go for it!

Hi there! So sorry for your loss first of all. I had a missed miscarriage this time last year after getting pregnant our first try. Had to get a d&c. Recovery was quick physically but the emotional healing is rough to say the least. I hoped to get pregnant just as quickly again so we tried after a couple weeks. I started tracking ovulation again with a digital opk and it was all over the place. Was so hard because I would get multiple positives like every other day to a couple times a week. I didn’t get pregnant right away. It took five and half weeks to get a normal period. I continued to track my ovulation using opks and timing intercourse perfectly each month but we didn’t fall pregnant again until our sixth cycle. Currently going on 20 weeks with a little boy. I know it feels so far away and you want to fill the hole in your heart, but be patient and kind to your body.

I did not have a d&e. My loss was early 6.5-7 weeks and my body took care of it on its own. 
You are not alone. 
I’m sorry you lost your baby. 
I miscarried 5.5 weeks ago and I’m pregnant again right away. 
This is my third baby. My second was conceived 1 cycle after a 9 week miscarriage , and she’s perfect. 
 
My doctor told me the best pregnancy outcomes are 1-3 months after a miscarriage and to try whenever we felt ready.
