Momma has the flu

I’m so mad at myself right now. I’ve been super busy and failed to get a flu shot- I’m a teacher so I get one every year.

I have felt like the absolute worst for the last 3 days. My husband is military and was gone so I didn’t want to take the baby to a patient first and expose her unnecessarily to other germs. So I sucked it up and survived this weekend. Felt awful this morning but the fever was only low grade so I went to work. I decided to go to patient first before picking up the baby and was diagnosed with type b flu.

Grace, the baby has only had the first flu booster a week ago. She has an appointment to get swabbed tomorrow morning and I’m praying it’s negative. I will literally feel like the worst Mom ever. Praying for a good outcome tomorrow!
