“You’re husband is on the route of becoming a police officer. You cannot trust a police officer especially with minorities and the brutality. I cannot be friends with you because of that and the fact you are studying criminal justice ” -Ethan

I never really thought that being or having a spouse on the route of becoming law enforcement and studying criminal justice can have friends see you differently.im kind of hurt. understand that there has been numerous amount of brutality against minorities all over the news but are the good and the ugly in every profession.

We both see people as people. It doesn’t matter what your skin tone is or where you’re from. You treat people the way you would like to be treated.
