Accutane?

Should I start accutane? My acne is really bad but I’m afraid to take it because of the side effects.

100% up to you. 
I don't regret having taken it but still have lingering effects from when I was on it, and I've been off for 4+ years now, so I doubt they'll ever go away. 
Something to be wary of when you decide. My acne on my back, which was the main reason I took it though my face wasn't great either, also slightly came back when I switched from the pill to the IUD but not bad enough for me to want to try and go on accutane again.

YES!!! I just finished my last dose. I have my life back! I'm so confident and so happy. I still have scaring because I was breaking out for so long. I wont lie to you the side effects can be brutal, but I'd do it again.

Unfortunately, it's a risk you take with Accutane.  I don't regret taking it at all; my skin's clear and a haven't had a breakout in over ten years.  But I still have side effects from it.  I have to be very mindful of the soap and makeup I use on my skin and winters are pretty brutal for me.  I also have to be very diligent with moisturizing when it's cold or the skin on my hand will break out in a rash and will actually begin to bleed.  But I had been trying to get rid of my acne for about ten years prior to that.  Trying at least eight different creams, five different pills, and several in-office treatments and the acne just wasn't going away.  Accutane was literally my last chance and I was so desperate, I felt the risks were worth it.
