Slowly loosing my patience here guys! My MIL is forever asking favours from myself and my husband. Recently they’ve went from having two cars to one, the one they have now her husband is using for work. She’s applying for jobs even though she has no way of getting to the interviews or the jobs if she is offered them and just expecting me to take her. They live 20-30 minutes drive away from us. The other week she asked me to drive to pick her up and take her to the post office as she forgot to post a parcel, she’ll ask us for coffee then say we need to drive the 30 mins to pick her up, drive somewhere for a coffee then drop her off and drive the other 30 minutes home and also take his little sister (16 years old!) home with us until her friend picked her up from our house 5 hours later. Like what?? If we say no she throws a tantrum and stops talking to us saying we don’t care. Today she’s asked me to drive to pick her up then drive another 40 minutes to an interview and sit and wait for her then drive her the hour home again. All with my 4 month old daughter while it’s -4 degrees outside. She rarely remembers my daughters check up appointments, rarely asks how I am and when we are together she will make no effort to talk to us at all and if I don’t make conversation we sit in silence. Her husband is a plumber and we’ve been waiting for him to fix our shower for 5 months now..yet I’m expected to drop everything and run her all over town? Am I being dramatic 😫
