How do you guys stay calm when waiting?

I am only 4 weeks today and my first appointment isn't until I am 9 weeks and 2 days (Dec 27)..how do you all stay calm and not panic? Fingers crossed that time flies and all is good! But this is my first pregnancy so I don't know what to expect or look for!

Stay active and stay off this app! Haha i deleted it my first pregnancy because all it made me do was worry. This is something truly out of our control, and what will happen will happen. The majority of us will have healthy, to-term pregnancies! Try to enjoy and not read into every symptom.

Who says we are staying calm? I’m a stay at home mom with 2 boys so they keep me occupied and help the days go faster, but when they nap I’m constantly checking websites and researching. I have slower rising HCG this time around and have to get extra bloodwork but not until Friday and it’s driving me nuts!!!

Our first appointment isn’t until 9/10 weeks and I have a hard time waiting too. So we are going to see the baby at 6/7 weeks at a private ultrasound clinic where you can see the heartbeat on the screen.

It’s so hard but you need to just do activities throughout your day and keep yourself busy. Don’t stay at home and think about it!
