“Back is best” but if you ask any of our mothers we all belly slept. Back sleeping wasn’t the hype until 1994 when the AAP started recommending it. Do what you feel comfortable with!

My girl napped like this earlier today, but I was beside her. At night she sleeps on her side. No matter what I do she always manages to turn on her side. DR said it was okay :)

Only if it’s for a short nap that is being supervised.
Otherwise this is not safe and can cause SIDS because they cannot move their heads. 
Have baby sleep on their backs at all other times.

American association of pediatrics say that baby should only be put to sleep on their back until they can roll over. Sleeping on belly is not considered safe since they cannot love their heads well.

I let my son nap like that as long as I sit right there and nap - otherwise, back is best
