I don’t really have anybody to talk to about this because my husband is overseas (7 hours ahead 😒), and it’s kinda hard to explain to others who don’t understand. Well, I’m about 5.5 months along with my little girl and she moves SO. MUCH. Today she kicked me in the bladder a lot (she usually uses it as a beanbag), and actually kicked me in the ribs while I was laying on my side this morning. Sometimes she moves so much that she makes me nauseous, but other times she’ll just lay there and kick/punch me repeatedly in the same spot.

She really likes music and when I sing, but her favorite sound is her daddy’s voice 💙 He calls usually once in the afternoon and once around midnight, and she KNOWS when it’s getting close to time. She gets very active and kicks a LOT. I always have him talk to her for a bit with my phone at full volume on speaker. Most of the time she’ll get closer to the phone and even kick at it like “That’s my daddy!” Sometimes he’ll sing for her, and I’ll play a recording I have of him singing the times he doesn’t get to call.

No matter what, she will NOT let me sleep without hearing her daddy’s voice first. If he doesn’t call and I don’t play him singing, she’ll wake me up every few hours throughout the night. Last night, I had him tell her I love you before we got off the phone. He said “I love you Selene”, and I made him say it again because I didn’t have the volume up the first time. She heard him the second time and started wiggling around 😭💙 She’s already so much of a daddy’s girl and I am SO incredibly excited for him to come home for her birth 💙💙
