What percentile is your baby in?

I had my anatomy scan yesterday and baby is measuring in the 92 percentile. I'm a first time mom so I have a little confusion about the percentiles and what is normal. I know they told me baby is measuring almost two weeks ahead.

So the way they get those percentiles is they measure 100 babies at your exact gestation so out of those 100 babies your baby is number 97. So bigger than 96 of those babies measured ❤️

I'm 20 weeks and my baby is in the 75th percentile, which my OB said is about average. Measured a week ahead in most things, but everything looked good 😊

I'm 30 weeks and my boy is in the 81st percentile. Big babies are 80 and above. Your doc may recommend follow up growth scans. I have another at 36 weeks to make sure he's not too big to have vaginally. I'm fine with a c section so long as he is healthy. Don't worry about they're size, just keep taking good care of your body and you'll be just fine!

I don’t know the percentile thing and I’m a mom already lol. But this baby I’m pregnant with now is measuring a week or so ahead! Your ob will monitor it. If they think further plans like induction, c section and stuff is needed they’ll tell you closer to the due date. But definitely ask your ob questions if you have some!

Mine is in the 90s not sure the exact percentile. But I know it will be a big baby. But I’m not surprised as my family has big babies (9 pounds +)

At my anatomy scan he was measuring in the 12th percentile (stomach in the 8th). They did a follow up growth scan two weeks later and he's in the 21st percentile now (stomach in the 9th.)
