Membrane sweep..Stories anyone?

I’m going to ask for one tomorrow at 38+1 . Last appointment I was 2cm soft cervix. Any successful or not so successful stories?

Had mine at 38+6 with my last and had her at 39+1! I already asked to do it with this pregnancy when it comes time.  Mine didnt hurt at all so she was really in there working for awhile lol

Had it done twice and played golf after, still never went into labor! I was also 3cm dilated.

I had mine done at 38 weeks with my second one. ( per my dr only did it if second baby) And I went into labor the following week. I’m planning on getting it again with my last one next week.

As soon as I had it done I started loosing my mucus plug that same day in the afternoon, 3 days later I went into labor

I'm 38 weeks and just had mine stripped today. I'm 3cm dilated and 70% effaced. I lost my mucus plug an hour and a half after my appointment. So now it's a waiting game, but I can tell that everything is becoming more productive than before. This is also my third pregnancy. I had it done with my other kids but I don't remember losing my mucus plug at all after my appointments when I asked to have my membranes stripped. This time was a huge, and gross shock to me. 😂

Went into labor 48 hours after I had it done with my first. Never worked with my second. Just had it done yesterday with my 3rd and we will see 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had mine done at 39 40 and 41 weeks with my daughter and nothing ever happened. Lost some mucus plug but that's it.
