Bottle recommendation??

Which bottle do you recommend that had the best slow flow for a newborn? We bought playtex with the plastic liners and newborn nipples but found the nipples don’t work well and let too much milk out. Baby girl keeps spitting up and choking. Hoping an actual slow flow nipple will help

I was also going to suggest the dr brown wide neck bottle! We have the anti colic one and my breastfed baby loves it and it’s the only bottle he will take.

Avent is a good flow bottle. My son was in NICU and used Avent just fine. Make sure you're pace feeding... definitely helps control the flow and speed of which they drink.

Yes! Paced feeding helps a lot. Just take burp breaks.

My lactation consultant recommended either playtex of Dr Brown wide neck glass bottles. I’m not a fan of plastic so I have Dr Brown and they are great, flow is slow so no more spitting up like we had before.

I recommend the tommy Tippee extra slow flow bottles it really slows down the flow and makes the baby work to get milk.

I found avent, como tomo, Tommee tippy, and a few other brands never had a great “slow flow”

I have avent and dr brown. Avent comes out much slower. I had to stop using Dr Brown this early bc he was choking and spitting up

Tha MAM(newborn nipples) has worked for my baby girl and she has cleft palate so the slow flow and flat shape of nipple work for her.
