When you give someone a gift do you take the tag off?

Absolutely. I don’t like it when people leave price tags on gifts. I think it’s tacky. I don’t want to know how much you’ve spent on a gift even if you got it cheaper.

I don’t take the tags off. But I do cut the price part off. I want them to know it is a gift I bought and not anything I just picked out of my closet, but I don’t want them knowing the price.
