When to take a pregnancy test with PCOS

Question

I recently got diagnosed with pcos so I’m new to this haha!
I don’t have periods really ever,  how soon should I take a pregnancy test after unprotected sex since I can’t wait for a missed period?  
I’ve seen mixed answers online-  one week,  one to two weeks,  three weeks,  a month...

I would start doing BBT and OPKs. Best app to track - fertility friend 
Sometimes with pcos opks can give you a positive and you might not actually ovulate but you think might have because of the positive strop. so with BBT you will be able to see if you actually ovulated or not. 
Hasn’t the doctor discussed putting you on certain meds to help start your cycles 🤔? 
I was given metformin to help and was also given provera to jump start my period a couple of times

I think if you try and track your ovulation dates ( using OPK strips, changes in your CM etc) that might give you a better idea of when you could potentially conceive. 
After that I’d wait 2 weeks ♥️
