My husband and I went for our 16 week gender US. The doctor came back and told us there were some abnormalities with our scan. She is thinking something genetic so we are being sent to a maternal fetal specialist. Blood work for genetic testing has been sent off. Has this happened to anyone else and it be a false alarm? This is our first baby and we are absolutely devastated.
