Do you change your LO diaper during night?

Question

My LO is sleeping from 7 to 7 with 1 to 2 wakes up just for “quick bite” ( breastfeeding him for just couple of minutes where he is usually half asleep). Usually I don’t change him  but I feel bad because his diaper is so full in the morning 😬. And recently I think that it has started bothering him around 4,5 am, because he has been turning a lot and grunting and putting his legs up and down. When that happens I change him but than he doesn’t want to go back to sleep. I am not sure is this bothering him or maybe it’s some form of gas issues because he has been eating lots of cereals?
What do you all think? Do you change your Lo’s during 10+ hours of sleep? Any other thoughts?

I change her right before feeding. This makes her wake up a bit but feeding her usually gets her back to sleep 😊

My girl was peeing through her diapers by 2 am each night. So I put on her brothers diapers at night, they’re two sizes bigger. They hold the pee and are big enough for pee isn’t being held right next to her.

I’ve always changed my sons 🤷🏻‍♀️. He got diaper rash once when we didn’t and will also pee through sometimes. He wakes once to eat so before I feed him I do a really quick change and he usually always falls asleep by the end of his bottle anyway.

As a new born, I changed before each feed at night as he was too sleepy to know how to open his mouth despite being hungry. When he learnt that, we started Changing less until I stopped changing at night in his size 2 diapers. And then, he started filling his diapers so much that he got uncomfortable and twisted until I freshened him up. That is where we are. We change every 4-5 hours at night. Latest then he wants a new diaper.

My son sleeps 12 hours without waking up. I never change him. If he did wake to eat, I probably would depending on how full the diaper was.

My daughter has never been bothered by a diaper. If she's sleeping through the night we won't change her, if she wakes up we will. She hasn't had a diaper. (She only poops once a day and it's during the day)

We have been changing usually but when we don’t he’s wet in the morning from it leaking. We may try sizing up this week at night to see if it helps.

The 4-5am activity sounds normal to me. I've never thought it was down to the diaper! We only change it if it refuses to go down after a full feed and like 10-15 mins of holding.

I use target brand overnight diapers and don’t change her for about 12 hours (when she’s sleeping). She’s fine and doesn’t leak. Obv I change her if she poops.
