Do kids names need to sort of match?

My daughter has an uncommon name but all the other names we like are superrrr common . Will it be weird if one is uncommon and one is common? 🤔 Why does this even stress me out lol

They don’t have to match however I did know 2 brothers named Casper and Jasper (not twins) and the third one was Steven. I was so far off from the other two and I always thought it was odd.

We have Zelda Mae for a girl and Peter Jude for a boy so🤷🏻‍♀️
I want to try and stick to video game for girl- superhero/comic book for boys.
Zelda from Legend of Zelda of course, Mae for the badass astronaut who was the first African American woman into space. We played around with Zelda Sally or Zelda Valentina but didn't care for it. All the middle names are astronaut related, I'm SUPER into space and astronomy lol
Peter for all of the superhero/Peter pan reasons but also my grandfather's middle name, Jude because we both LOVE the Beatles lol
For 2nd child, we have Laura or Claire, tomb raider and resident evil series. For boys we have Oliver or Logan, Green arrow and Wolverine lol

My niece has 4 kids...all named by H’s...my husband’s father’s side of the family is all K’s....we have a son with the K letter name...my next child will not be. His name is common but not with the spelling for a boy. I do feel like everyone is different with preferences and you should go with what suits you and the child

It really depends on your style and preference. My boys are Jakob, Gage and Desmond and we're pregnant with number 4 if it's a girl it'll be Aaliyah, if a boy not sure but like Axel and Micah. My good friends have 3 and they're all "L" names. It's whatever you like and agree on

I dont think they should match but I think they should have a similar theme, I think it's strange to have a really old fashioned name with something really modern and unique.
