What do you do with a 6 week old??

Hi mommas. I’m a FTM and have a 6 week old. I’m wondering what all toys we can play with at this age. I have an activity mat we use everyday for tummy time and back time and black and white cards for her to look at. Is it me or is this newborn phase kinda boring? We go on walks when it’s nice out. Anything else we can do? Tired of doing the same things everyday.

I have a 3 week old and right now she just likes looking at/out the window. I lay her on the mat on the floor, turn some music on, and sing along while she looks at the window. I’ve tried introducing some very basic toys, but she’s not interested. She just loves her window. 
Also, she likes some very basic children’s books, like “Where’s Spot?”

My girl is also 6 weeks old and we do the same. Tummy time on the mat until she is over it, then she goes on her back and looks at all the hanging things over the mat, I read and talk to her, I have her touch those crinkly toys, listen to music, and have her look at herself in the mirror. Other than that, there’s not much else I can think of to do. It does get pretty boring but I love when she laughs and smiles at me!

Agreed. Also, I am tired of the sound of my own voice narrating this boring-@$$ phase 🙈 My husband asked me how many times a day I’m going to keep saying, “Good Morning 🤪.”
I got these two simple toys at the recommendation of a baby sleep class teacher online. They were both a hit, if you can believe it! My husband complained we shouldn’t be spending money on paper for a baby, but, eh. 🤷🏼‍♀️
