Test for mold?

I'm pretty sure the reason my baby is constantly sick is bc we could have mold. Me and my husband have both been sick too. I've taken him to the dr over 6 times and I'm getting nowhere. Has anyone tested their home for mold? What home test kit did you use? It is costly to get a professional to do it. Sorry I just dont know what else to do and he only coughs and gets stopped up at home.

I will have to ask my husband how we wemt about having our old home tested. Right before we got pregnant with my 5 month old, we had purchased a house. Myself, my 6 year old and my husband were constantly sick. Turned out the sellers hid and painted over black mold and we had to leave everything behind and move out. Butttttt we are all healthy now! Thats a worse case scenario for sure but its definitely a good idea to figure it out sooner than later so the problem doesnt get worse

Following! I’ve been dealing with this too. I’ve been thinking we have mold within the walls. Now we have a huge leak in the basement that got fixed, now something is leaking again! And I’ve been smelling a mold smell. My daughter has been nonstop sick. Now I’ve been dealing with symptoms too so I’m freaking out about mold. I’ve noticed we don’t feel crappy when we’re not at home. I looked into costs for professionals and it’s so expensive. 😩

This is my fear bc I’ve noticed mold around our window seals lately and I can’t get it off... ugh. Scary!

There are tests at Home Depot for cheap but, you have to send in a sample of the mold. 
If you haven’t seen any, the best option is to hire someone or have them come inspect. I can’t give you a price, when I dealt with this the landlord paid for it all.
