Breast pump through insurance?

I tried 3 different websites and all three of them don’t work with my insurance for a breast pump. Does anyone know what I would need to do to get one through insurance? Would I just ask my doctor to write me a prescription or what? I’m lost.

You’re supposed to tell your doctor that you want to breast feed and then she will put in the order for your breast pump when you are close to 8 months simple

Call your insurance and ask.  Some require you to get them at specific medical supply stores.  
For example, I called mine to ask and I’m required to go to the hospital owned medical supply company, and can’t fill the Rx until the baby is born.

Mine was SO EASY! Doc gave me a pamphlet to let me know my options. On the back of the pamphlet there was a form with about 4 questions (name, address, phone number, insurance information) and my dr's "prescription" for it already filled out on the bottom. All I had to do was fill it out, take a picture of the form and text it to the phone number on the pamphlet. 2 weeks later I got my free pump.
Ask your doctor if they have anything like that!

Call your insurance company or talk to your doctor. With my first my doctor was the one who ordered it and I picked it up at the office.

My dr wrote a prescription and I just took it to a medical supply store that sells them and they filed it through insurance
