HELP?! I’m finding it really hard to get romantic/intimate with my partner. I mean I’m 9 months PP now & just have no drive for it what so ever. Even the thought makes me cringe, I feel like we’re just friends currently & it’s so hard 😭

SAAAAME! Our relationship is fine and we don’t fight, but there’s no romance and I have no sex drive. Also we’re both so tired everyday, when our son goes down for the night we do our own thing to decompress. I know date nights are important, but we would rather be home with our kid since we both work 😬. I think it’s just a season of life and things will go back to normal eventually.

Dang I feel you! I try to make date nights important and movie nights important. Also I try to do two sex nights a week and I get a free pass card if he ask that day and I’m too tired that’s how I compromise with my husband. Prob sounds silly but works for us! That way I still have time with him and feel that connection! Things will get better just keep trying!

I feel this too! And I feel that when I am down to try which really uses everything I have and I feel is mostly so he doesn’t feel neglected he falls asleep and the other times I am so exhausted I am asleep! I think breastfeeding and being a caretaker of a baby takes everything out of you and unfortunately romance gets pushed aside and I don’t think men understand that

If you two are able to, maybe you can get a sitter and have a romantic date with just the two of you. Have some wine (if you drink) to help you unwind and enjoy each other’s company. My partner felt a bit neglected after we had the baby and it’s important to make sure you still spend time working on your relationship and making your mate feels like a priority also.

On very rare occasion w me try to be intimate during a Saturday nap that’s basically it b lol don’t even bother trying at night you’re too tired.
