Birth control!?

Trying to figure out the best birth control option!!! 
LO is 6weeks. My OB said the mini pill or the nuva ring. 
My lactation consultant said they all can tank supply, and I had supply issues with my first. But the nuva ring hopefully less because it’s not going through your whole system, it’s more local. But she said the nuva ring isn’t all that effective either. 😫
I’ll add I’m absolutely terrible at remembering so the pill is my least fav option. And IUDs are a no go for me too....
What have you ladies found? Any supply issues with nuva ring?

I tried an IUD, and that was the worst thing ever for me, so I understand skipping that one. 
I know people who have gotten pregnant on the Nuva ring and the mini pill. No bc is 100%, but those seem extra flawed. If I was doing either of those, I’d probably still use condoms if I didn’t want to get pregnant. 
This time around, my husband is just going to get snipped. 😉

My lactation consultant said sperm practically swims passed the mini pill😅 
But something better than nothing I guess😬 
Me nor my husband like condoms, so we’re really trying to find an alternative
I used the nuva ring in the past for years and never had an issue, but I too know a friend who recently got pregnant on it.....
Possibly trying some cycle tracking in combo with something to help, which won’t work until I get my cycle back, which I didn’t for about 15 months with my first 😓
