Planned Csection

I had an emergency c section with my first baby, it wasn't a good time and it took 12 weeks to properly feel like myself and heal on the outside. I know that there isn't a lot of difference between planned and emergency apart from the circumstances. I am considering to have a planned c section due to my iron levels I may not be strong enough to have baby naturally. Probably a stupid question but just wanted to know if recovery time is any quicker than am emergency c section as I have a 3 year old to also handle during recovery time.
