Why does he do this!!!!

The flu is hitting very hard in my city and I’m currently pregnant and have 2 kids and I tell my husband to tell his side of family to tell us if they have any flu like symptoms please to not come over and I do the same with mine, we all got the vaccines but it’s only been a week and you can’t be too careful but when he told his mom today he said that I asked if she was sick why did he do this!! His mom already doesn’t like me and we both agreed it’s best to stay away from people that are sick, and then when I told him hey don’t say I told her say you wanted to tell her, then she comes home and makes mean remakes towards my parenting or me in general then my husband says she just saying her opinion then I told him fine I get to have opinions towards her too I always hold back to not make the situation worse but I hate it so much, especially being pregnant of course I’m going to be more emotional
