Post partum sex. Does it get better?!?!

Hi 
In desperate need of an answer. Currently 8 weeks post partum and sex HURTS. I’m so dry and it hurts even with lube. I don’t think it’s only a dryness problem, but also hurts where the stitches were. It literally feels like I’m being torn. 
Does it get better 😩😩😩 I need to know.

It gets better! I had very similar feeling for a few months. It sucks so bad, I had a bad tear and it took some time but you will Be back to normal in no time try to go slow and use lots of lube and hopefully your partner is understanding and supportive! ❤️

Yes it does!! I promise! Honestly sex is better now than ever!!! My son is almost 2. It was uncomfortable for a couple months at first and I would mostly feel uncomfortable where my stitches were I had a 4th degree tear 😐 but gets better!!! Use a water based lube!!!

It will get better! It takes time though. It took 9 months to change, it'll take more than a few weeks to feel normal! I totally thought I was going to go back to having sex 6 weeks post partum but man was I wrong. Sex wasn't enjoyable to me till now around 12 weeks and even then it wasnt totally normal. 6 weeks is really just the minimum where you CAN have sex. Not necessarily when it feels good apparently lol. Learned the hard way. I will say though, I was so afraid my body was ruined and I would feel the pain forever, but it didn't last. I know it feels scary when your body isn't adjusting like you thought it would, but give it time! Sex is now even more enjoyable for me post baby! Give yourself and your body time!

It gets better. Same thing happened to me after my first born. It took me way longer than 8 weeks to feel back to normal. After my 2nd born i didn't have this problem again.

Thank you all 😩😩😩 my partner is so sweet and considerate we are taking it slow. But I feel like I’m the one rushing cause I want to be intimate so badly. Thanks again ladies, you’ve given me hope!

Yes it does but even though I got the go ahead at 8 weeks after all 3 pregnancies I always waited until closer to 10. A glass of wine or 2 😉 always seemed to help and just taking it slow. May not be the most pleasurable the first few times but it will get better.

Take it slow, keep using lubrication..you’ll get there. Everything that went on down there is still pretty “fresh”...your body just needs time to heal and adjust.
