Flying in 1st trimester ?

Question

Is it safe to fly in the first trimester?
I think I’m about 5-7 weeks along. 
The flight is only 1 hr. 
I just don’t wanna risk misscarriage :(

Perfectly fine 😍 if you have concerns, always ask your OB/midwife! I’ve flown in every trimester, and about to do it again! I’m about 5ish weeks myself!

I flew for a whole 9 hours at 9 weeks, totally fine! I spoke with my doctor and she said it was okay. My only issue is the plane made me NAUSEOUS. So make sure if you’re the queasy type to bring some helpful aids for that. Have fun!

Totally fine! I’m just about 10 weeks and flew 6 hours a week ago. Just make sure to get up and walk around. Flying won’t cause a miscarriage... your blood changes when you fly so they worry about clots, which is why they tell you to get up. One hour is totally fine!

I flew at 15-16 weeks! My ob said it’s fine. They only have concern at the end of your pregnancy!

I flew at 8 weeks and my fight was over 3hrs. You’ll be fine just get up and stretch often.

I flew at 4w2d, (4hrs then 1hr 45min) then did the same trip backwards when I was 6 weeks. Just stay hydrated, if the seatbelt sign comes off, stand up & stretch a bit, and you'll be fine. My ob has zero issue with me taking this trip, even with a previous early miscarriage. My boy is now 7.5 months and perfectly healthy.
