Does anyone else struggle with this?

My husband and I have been together for 7 years. While he has had other partners I’ve never been with anyone else and have some body image issues and self esteem stuff. I love my husband and he tells me all the time how pretty I am but for some stupid reason I guess I want outside validation.... I had this old friend who I started sexting with and now I want to stop bc I feel so guilty.

I never got the sexual exploration phase and we aren’t into threesome or bring in another person in. Any suggestions on how I can get over this attention seeking and negative self image? Anyone else struggle with this????
