What is everyone planning on wearing for labour and delivery? With my first baby I had a csection so I didn't really have to plan for it. I'm looking for something modest but easy for breastfeeding and skin to skin afterwords.

Hospital gown. You’d be surprised how much blood and bodily fluids get on what you deliver in. That way I don’t wreck my clothes. Depending on how I feel I may put sweats or pjs on after wards.

I took a night shirt and a stretch bra last time. Genuinely ended up wearing just the stretch bra and no ones everything out. I was so hot and did not care at that point! Not like me at all.

I wear a nursing bra and hospital gown as long as possible, because I don’t want to bleed on anything I like. With my first it was until I discharged, with my second I wore pajamas my last day. This time I brought two sets of pajamas and a going home outfit, and some Depends to help protect my pajamas if I’m inspired. But if I stay in the hospital gown that’s fine too. All of my recovery stays the hospital gowns have nursing access.

I bring my own hospital gown and then after delivery change into my own pajamas. I’m much more comfortable wearing my own clothes. 
During delivery I wear my hospital gown and a nursing sleep bra (there can be no metal on it) 
A lot of people are saying it’s very messy, my first birth was not like that (not saying that it can’t be, just that I didn’t experience that). I still have my gown from my first delivery and there’s not a single stain on it.

Hospital smock/whatever they give me at L&D. I’m bringing a nursing nightgown + cardigan, my robe from home, and two outfits (leggings, nursing tank, nursing top) as well but I don’t expect to wear them until after Delivery.

I got a  black hospital gown from Dressed to deliver, it's so comfortable and has snap buttons on the belly, all the way down the back, and the shoulders....I believe the material is also stain resistant, so I'll be able to wear it as a nursing gown afterwards 🥰

I had a c-section last time and I started in a hospital gown but on the second day I changed into my own robe. 
I plan to do the same thing this time
