I’m 36 weeks. Iva head swelling for a long time now. First my dr cut my hours back at work and that seemed to help. Then he took me off work completely and although I was still swollen, it wasn’t horrible. Well the last few weeks , it’s been bad. I’ll include pictures of tonight’s swelling. My hands hurt so bad and my socks are like cutting into my legs. Mind you, I was in bed most of the day, and was up for barely 4 hours to go to dinner with my parents, was in one store for maybe 20 minutes , then went to my sisters to visit my nephew , and home. I’m swollen clear up to my butt.

Several times now my BP has been high 140/80. My last set of vitals were on the 20th and my BP was 142/84. I’ve told them that I’ve had swelling every appointment and they never look at it or seem concerned.

I’ve had diarrhea now for like 3 days. I keep getting really bad bad pains and hip pain and some pain in my belly but they aren’t consistent enough to time.

I have Gestational diabetes also.

My friends are adamant that I should go to the ER. I’m trying to hold off because I go to the dr tomorrow but I’m seeing the NP in his office because he’s on vacation. Then I have another appointment after that one at the big hospital with the diabetes specialist. So I’m just curious what experiences you guys have had and any insight you can give me.

Also this is my second pregnant. Not sure if that means anything.
