Going home outfit ideas?

I’m worried I won’t pick something warm enough (we’re in Seattle and it’s December) but what did everyone pick for going home outfits/where’d you get them? I need suggestions :)

I’m packing a fleece sleeper with a cap and booties.  My mom is being so annoying about it because she thinks the baby should be in something cute... I think warm and comfy is priority

We have a jumpsuit type outfit with socks and a hat (the arms have little folds to go over baby’s hands as mittens). Also a swaddle and a car seat cover (it’s the cozy cover brand if you want an idea). We’re in Idaho and due the end of December so it’s going to be pretty cold. You can always send your SO out to start the car and pull it closer. Then the car won’t be so cold and you don’t have as far to go with baby outside in the cold

My sons going home outfit is pretty special my mother in law knitted the little jacket before passing the way 1 year and a half ago & I bought him some little pants since she couldn’t finish the other ones it’s all in white

Michigan lady here. I just have all warm and cozy things packed. I bought a pram but it may be unnecessary tbh. I worry that will make him TOO hot in his car seat so I may skip out on it. We also got a car seat cover, so I’ll probably have that just for the walk outside to the car and then unzip it once he’s in our car. I think fleece jammies with a hat and a couple of blankets will do the trick.

Would love to know what everyone’s doing too. I live in Vancouver Canada so the climate is very close to Seattle. I have few fleece onesies but I am nervous it’ll be too hot for my LO.

I have a onesie, pants, socks, fuzzy shoes, and a long-sleeve button sweater. Ill take a fleece suit as well. But the car sear has a fleece cover that zips & im taking a blanket. Ill ask the nurse how many layers she thinks is appropriate for the weather (nyc).

I'm in Portland and I have just a t-shirt onesie with matching pants & socks, and a fuzzy hat & a soft fuzzy bear onesie for the car ride home! 🥰

I live in Montana, so going home it could potentially be negative especially with how much weather we’ve gotten already and I’m just doing a long sleeve onesie and pants with a cap. She’ll have a blanket and a carrier cover- should be plenty to just make it out to the car
