Would you kiss your own Baby (0-3 or 3-6 months) on the lips?

I posted earlier and I feel like I wrongly expressed my question.
So, what are your thoughts?

I kiss my baby on the mouth I made him he has my germs and I know I'm not sick

No, only because it feels weird kissing a mouth that doesn't kiss back. Totally not judging other parents who do it, though. 
I kiss my babies all over their faces. Just not the mouth. ❤

My husband finds this weird but i have a 11 8 5 2 yr old due with twins and i never kiss my kids on the lips only cheek and forhead or any owies. I just feel awkward and leave that for just me and my hubby.

I don't. I think it was the pediatrician or maybe my dentist who said to not kiss your newborns on the mouth because it can transfer bacteria (like cavity causing bacteria) to your baby, even though it's obviously closed-mouth, it can still happen. And it can be an issue even if they don't have teeth. I've never kissed my child's mouth at all and she's 18 months. Not judging others who do it. I just don't like the risk.

I remember being uncomfortable with adults, including my parents kissing me without my permission. I don't plan on giving baby kisses unless he seems to specifically go for kisses, for my family teaching consent from an early age is really important.

Of course! I remember being in the hospital after having my son. I kissed him on the lips and said, “I’ll forever be your first kiss.”  I know cheesy,but it was special to me. My husband and I kiss his lips, cheeks, forehead, and belly! I dont know why people think it’s so weird to kiss your own kid. And his slobbery opened mouth kisses are the best!
