Severe pain on right side?

Question

I’ve been experiencing severe abdominal pain on my far far right side for about twenty minutes now. It’s pretty far up, about an inch below where my rib cage stops. The pain is about as bad as when I went to the ER because of the pain from an ovarian cyst. I’m 23 weeks pregnant. It subsided to extremely uncomfortable when I stay still. Ideas?

That's about where your gallbladder is. Might want to get it checked out or at least call your Dr.

I had similar pain around that time with my first pregnancy. Talked to my doctor about it, and she ruled out gallbladder issues, but apparently that’s common(ish) in pregnancy. In my case it was just a muscle strain from my belly expanding. It was sharp and extremely painful. But it’s worth asking your doc, bc it could be your gallbladder too.
