What was your wedding like ?

I asked my boyfriend if he was okay with a elegant kind of goth wedding, and he said he wasn’t so sure until I showed him some examples and absolutely love it. 
What did y’all plan for yours ? I want to know what made you believe what would be the perfect wedding and if you actually like it once it became a reality.

Vintage literary. The bridesmaids wore periwinkle. There were vintage pictures and books as the centrepieces and mismatched vintage China on the tables. I made so much stuff for it. A banner made of doilies, burlap bows for the chairs, the cake stand made of wood slices. And lots of decor using vintage book pages. It turn out beautifully

Mine was simple. It was not religious. I had a light ivory and whisper pink dress. We had our reception at home in the backyard. I married my favourite person in the world. 
His friend did a Halloween goth wedding. The pictures are fitting for them.

We eloped. Went up north. Had a white snow wedding set up at a beautiful inn with just us. Our families knew but we just didn't want all the extra b.s. or money it takes. Got an elopement package and it was amazing.

My wedding didn't have a theme or anything like that. It was very small and just us, his parents, my sister, and my aunt. We got married outside in Manitou Springs Colorado.
