I think they’re okay and cute most of the time. I just think it gets totally weird when when the owner of the doll acts as if it’s real. I’ve seen YT videos of women having a whole nursery and car seat for the doll. 
Idk about all that.

I don't. But I know a woman who owned one as part of recommended therapy after losing her own child in an accident. I know people must have looked at her strangely for "pretending" it was real, but it wasn't pretending to her and it's easy to judge something you see, but don't know anything about. But it was a wonderful thing for her, as it helped her so much as a therapeutic experience that she was eventually able to adopt and love another child.

I don't think you can judge about it being weird unless you've experienced a loss of your own. I haven't used one myself but I can only see them being helpful. Losing a child is one of the most traumatic things I could think of and I couldn't imagine suddenly having to go through my day without my daughter in my arms.

I think if they help that’s great, I don’t have one and personally I think it’d make it harder for me to let go
