Complicated miscarriage that involve the last 5 days in the hospital, 2 D&Cs, and an exploratory laparoscopy (so 3 total surgeries).

Tonight is the night that they are weaning me from IV meds to oral meds and severely cutting back on doses, making it the hardest night before I go home in the morning.

Our other kid is currently 100% taken care of. Our hospital room is setup with a nice recliner. Am I right to be upset that he went home on what I obviously going to be my on hardest night?! I just want him there to hold my hand as I deal with the pain and withdrawal from the medication.

I just know I would have never left him if the roles were reversed.
