Do you know if steroid shot has side effects for the babies?

My doctor said I am going to receive steroid shot around week 30-32 for my babies’ lungs to be mature just in case of having to deliver earlier, she said Mo/di twins are higher risk due to TTTS. I am 23 weeks but a little concern about side effects on the babies.

It’s a steroid so you may have a hard time sleeping, feel jittery or that your heart is racing, increase appetite. There’s more but that’s all I can think of at the moment.

I had my twins at 34w and the doc said that the fact that I had steroids was crucial.
In my country it’s kind of routine for multiple pregnancies. I got one at 28 and one at 32w.
I didn’t think they were particularly painful and I didn’t get any side effects 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t think there are any issues with getting the shots, for you or the babies. I didn’t experience any problems/side effects when I had mine, and it’s done routinely here with babies that come early.
